Built with an advanced, fast action and unbelievable performance levels, the X Switch will change the fly fishing game. The Sage X Switch provides anglers with the perfect balance and choice between Spey casting for Salmon and overhead casting for Trout. Superiorly constructed with all-new KonnecticHD technology, this combines high density fibre positioning and composite materials for improved strength, stiffness and weight throughout the entire blank. This alone magnifies the strength, durability and performance of the rod. The composite materials and technology used, produces an ultra high energy transfer throughout the rod. This lets you really feel the line load and feel the energy rushing through the rod with each cast. This energy you will feel can be felt intensely in the lower sections of the blank, letting you shift that power closer to you for complete loop control. The KonneticHD technology also reduces vibrations and movement in the blank when you are casting so you produce more accurate and effective fly presentations. For comfort, no matter what method of casting you are using, the two handed handle is crafted from superior quality cork with a Super Plus fore grip and rear grip. The up-locking reel seat is constructed from ultra sleek, stealth black anodised aluminium and features a hidden, integrated hook keeper ring in the reel seat. There are Fuji ceramic stripper guides, hard chromed snake guides and tip-top fitted throughout the rod and is beautifully finished with a dark Black Spruce blank colour, Dark Green thread wraps and Metallic Grey trim wraps. The line weight is laser etched onto the slide band and the rod has a 4 piece construction. There is a black bag with a Titanium logo and Black Spruce model tag supplied with every rod. They also are supplied with a durable, aluminium rod tube that has an Evergreen coloured and powdered coated finish and a Sage medallion. The Sage X Switch rods offer anglers phenomenal versatility and have the ability to be used either single or double handed when fishing. The X Switch is available in an 11ft #7 or an 11ft #8 model.
